The Health and Safety Executive published a short leaflet for clients covering the 'Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015. The regulations as applicable to maintenance and small-scale building works. Interestingly, whilst acknowledging that the clients are not experts in construction, it outlines the clients responsibilities and legal duties. From our point of view at South Anston the points made serve as a handy reminder of what is expected of us every time we walk on site and how we can help our clients understand their obligations.
At the core of the leaflet is the notion that good safety management delivers good value in the sense that it reduces unexpected delays and their associated costs. These are the points to which we pay special attention.
Our working practices have been refined over many years of delivering safe high quality services. Here are our current 'points of emphasis'.
If you would like to follow up on any of the points made here please feel free to email us.
